Japanese lanterns in crepe paper
It's almost too obvious to make Japanese lanterns out of crepe paper. They already look like small works of art made of paper, which they stand and light up the garden with their bright orange lanterns.
At the workshop, we make branches with Japanese lights in Italian crepe paper, so you can enjoy the sight for as long as it needs to be. It is not the easiest flower to make, but we will guide you through the techniques, even if you are not a practiced flower maker.
The workshop is for both beginners and practitioners. There will be a thorough introduction so that beginners get to know the material, while there will also be techniques that can challenge the practiced flower maker.
Different ways of coloring the paper will also be reviewed, and you will have the opportunity to try out staining with soft pastels.
We provide all materials and tools, but please bring your favorite scissors if you want.
The course includes materials and coffee/tea.
